Schaefer Roller Furling/Reefing allows you to set, furl and reef your genoa from the safety and convenience of your cockpit. You no longer need to scramble forward to hank on your luff or tame the flailing genoa dropped on the foredeck. It's a one-person job to handle even your big 150% genoa!

Bearing Design: Open For Life
Schaefer's Torlon™ bearings cannot corrode and ride in open, easily accessible races that don't require lubrication. These proven, high-compression-strength bearings provide low friction and need only periodic flushing with water.

Headstay Adjustment: No Compromises
Schaefer Systems utilize your existing headstay and turnbuckle for reduced cost, full turnbuckle adjustability, and optimum performance. Their heavy-duty base toggle/link articulates to absorb side loads that might otherwise cause turnbuckle fatigue. Your turnbuckle is attached to the base toggle/link and is housed by the system, easily accessible.

Drum Design: Powerful, Open, Metal
Powerful, large-diameter drums provide you with the mechanical advantage you need for high sailing loads. Standard split drum plates allow for easy conversion to a full-length headsail. Attractive, stainless cages are open to give easy access to the furling line.

System 2100: Boats 30'-42'
Designed to perform and built to last, the System 2100 builds upon the features of the System 1100. A robust bearing package provides low friction, low maintenance furling for larger cruising boats. 126 tough, Torlon™ bearings ride in specially shaped, round races for maximum contact area.

Note: These systems come without Sta-Lok™ (upper eye) or Schaefer (lower) Toggle/Link fittings and are designed for rod or pre-swaged wire headstays that are typically assembled by a professional rigger. Toggle/Link fittings must be Schaefer and are sold separately in both standard and long lengths. The latter are used to raise the bottom drum assembly off the deck.
