The Lewmar Wavespring self-tailer combines their renowned and gentle wave-grip feature with self-adjusting springs. This winch automatically adapts to today's smaller diameters, as well as the traditional, larger polyester composite ropes. It's also designed to optimize human biomechanical factors and reduce fatigue. A sleek, minimum-friction feeder arm provides absolute snag-free operation.
Lewmar winch design allows simple servicing. No tools are required. Simply unscrew the top cap with your fingers to remove the needle peen drum and gain access to the center stem. Lewmar winches are also easy to fit. Simply remove the needle peen drum for access to the deck fitting holes.
